hihi all :)
hmm.. I believe that not many things happened by chance. 7.30 am in the morning: Hannah called and asked if I'm up and ready to go jogging. The sky did look gloomy and my mum warned me that it's not good to jog so much (She's paranoid about me exercising so much say it's not so good for girls to exercise so much..) Ok.. didn't really heed the warning signs and went ahead to jog anyway. Well, lesson learned. It poured heavily and we had to find a way to get back by taking the long route and ocassionally having to brave the drops of pouring rain as we cross the unsheltered pathway. Thankfully and hopefully none of us did get sick.. Hope your not sick now Hannah.. Think I'll give her a ring
But, on the way back throught the shophouses path, we ran into Dr Gek. She was the one who literally handled the delivery of Hannah.. well, we were on some issues and it is then that I realised again the meaning of occupations. I kind of admire Hannah. For the way the Lord spoke to her to tell her that His path for her is to be an occuupational Therapist. For the faith she put in the Lord when all circumstances were against her. It is these times when I think that being a doctor or a therapist or a teacher is noble and has meaning. They are directly involved in the shaping of lives of others.
Remembered what a friend that work as a lab tech once said to me. That her occupation is purposeful for her. That although just drawing blood and reading the results from the machines is very mundane and the more frequent you do it, it becomes routine. But no, she says. Every result being read by you is important to that patient. A wrong reading will result in the wrong prescription of drugs by the doctor which will adversely have an effect on the patient's life. See, little things like these when put together paints up a big picture :) I'm being reminded of the woven taperstry God is sewing for each of our lives. Even if sometimes we do not even understand the things that are happening in our lives or even through periods of silences in our lives, these are only but minute details. We will only appreciate these not until we see the big picture. And dear Lord, help me trust in you.
I really enjoyed myself out with Siu Siu today!! I had a lot of fun shopping. Bought this really really cool bag that have 3 girls that are shopping imprinted on it. Have been looking for it for a long time :) yeah!! Hey girl, meet you on next thursday to shop again k :P
Got this letter from Business and Accountancy club in NTU inviting me to the orientation camp. Hmm.. it seems fun!! Only one problem.. there's many chio girls and not enough handsome guys!! :( oh well..Have only one wish God: That you'll grant me many good friends both guys and girls that I can really really click and that will help me grow as an individual and together with them. Please God :)

yeah!! tomorrow baking chocolate chip cookies. Hopefully will be able to leave one for my dear friend too who begged me for a cookie.. okie, I'm exaggerating.. ha ha :P
